EITC Donations

The Dallastown Area Educational Foundation is an approved Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) organization regulated by the program requirements of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Businesses may make contributions and be considered for Educational Improvement Tax Credits upon application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. To date, the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation has received more than $221,000 in Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) donations. These funds have been granted to fund innovative educational programs that have enhanced the curriculum and academic programs of the Dallastown Area School District.

Opportunity Grants

The Dallastown Area Educational Foundation also has an application process for grants that do not meet the EITC/state guidelines.  The Allocations Committee considers these benchmarks, to name a few:  innovative, remedial, enrichment, literacy and flexible seating.
